Phorophyt is an old tree of Robinia pseudoacacia with its deep-fissured bark. In an accumulation of moss and debris (could be called elevated soil) in a crevice of the bark several stalks of Chelidonium are growing. No clue if it is one plant only or several plants. Dry Chelidonium parts beneath the green ones.
Below the tree a substantial amount of Chelidonium can be found. Is it the source of the epiphytic plant or a result of its seeds?
The plant has broad, elongated green leaves with distinct white veins. It features a central pink inflorescence that stands out against the lush green foliage. The plant grows epiphytically on a moss-covered tree trunk.
