Growing scattered from ground around some larger dead trees stumps in secondary forest, terrestrial but possibly growing from decayed wood of dead roots. Monomitic, spores inamyloid, clamps present in all tissues. Pleuro/cheilocystidia not present or not observed. Conductive hyphae present in context. Cylindric terminal cells present on pileus/stipe surface. Sent: Django may22

Possibly. Interior gelatinous, very sticky. Spores light brown, smooth walled. Growing in leaf litter, cypress, white oak, holly, beech, sourwood, tupelo, magnolia. White rhizomorphs, fuzzy ball shaped exterior.

interesting Mycenoid, never seen anything quite like it. The fruit bodies had a slight blue/green coloration to the cap and a stipe transitioning to a yellowish hue at the stipe base

Stumped and delighted. What are these CONFECTIONS? The largest fruitbodies were 2mm to 2.5mm wide.
Note that the upper surface of the pileus has a dingy quality with fine hairs on top, At first glance they appear not to be stipitate, but there is clearly a stipe on many fruit bodies.
