The Common Polypody observed here was found in a park, near a tree. The triangular green leaves can measure up to 50 cm, these in the picture are around 4cm. They are large at the start of the leaf but they keep getting smaller at the end of the frond. We can see a small but noticeable alternating arrangement; those on one side are slightly shifted compared to the leaves on the other sides.
