In the frequently mowed edge between the paved trail and the meadow proper. The presence of stem leaves distinguishes these from the species found in one of the dry, west facing slopes between the paved path and 16th Place.
Evidence of post oak nearby. On gentle slope in open woodland, with mostly white and other oaks and some hickory, halfway between a shopping mall parking lot and the paved trail. Post oaks were found to be "uncommon" in 2003 survey of Sligo plants. (Second pic is the context, with hickory in foreground.)
