This was fairly common to see on rocky terrain on a steeper incline. Bees were visiting flower to flower.
Unsure what this is, it was less than a foot tall off the ground, about a foot and a half across.
Found on the hillsides in rocky, dirt areas in lower elevations near the water. Soft, fuzzy looking stems and leaves. The stem comes up about two feet from the ground and at the top is a bundle of tiny, tight-woven white yarn looking balls.
Found on sloped terrain near the water at a lower elevation. Thin dark grayish-brown stem that is about 8 to 18 inches tall with 3 to 5 blueish-purple flowers bunched together at the top.
This was found closer to the water and was not very abundant in the area.
This is the only one I saw in the the whole area, and I found it near a stream.
About 8 inches high and a foot around. Not fully bloomed based on the database photo. Several bunches near the parking lot. Also saw lots of desert parsley close by.
This was an abundant ground plant that was found primarily on the hillside away from the water and made the ground appear orange. It also had bulbs that have not bloomed yet; therefore, the color of the blossom is unknown at this point in time.
