Leaves tiny c3-5mm x 3-5mm, strongly aromatic. Dense shrub 1.2 - 1.5m high.
Location approximate, somewhere not too far from Cascades Hut, KNP. The relatively flat leaf margins make it this and not B. foliosa or distichoclada.
Growing on powerline easement around pylon 137 on flats adjacent to Brownleys Back Ck. The last photo shows the extent of the population, which is large. The 2nd photo has one twisted leaf, which is needed to key this species out in the Flora of NSW, but these appeared to be unusual, mostly straight leaves, with an incurved mucro. It differs from D. prostrata, the common species of subalpine plains in the Snowies by having the flowers on long peduncles, and being a generally larger and more erect plant.
Field Notes - Corybas orchid found at Conimbla NP within creek line in dry eucalypt callitris bushland. Leaf about 30mm diameter. I think possibly C. incurvus. Different species to the Corybas submitted last week from a site approx 100kms north of this one.
Patches of several plants to 40cm high on stony slope towards Cherry Tree Creek, Conimbla NP
