Mites on this carabid (Mecodema sp.). In addition to the three visible in this photograph, the legs of a fourth mite are visible on the other side of the beetle in another photograph.
Mecodema with a heavy load of mites, probably Berzercon ferdinandi. In the second photograph, five mites are at least partly visible, but more were present.
