Horrible photos, but note streaking breast with plain head, stubby bull, and relatively long, square tail
:( posting mostly because I hadn’t seen this type of bird in the area before, and I’m wondering if it’s related to other wildfire smoke bird deaths.
At 6:05 a.m. we saw this little dazed looking flycatcher that stayed in position when the dog sniffed him. Returning at 6:52 E had died. Had heard about this very thing on the radio yesterday so took pictures and am attempting to record it on inatuuralist as suggested on the radio report.
