Found alongside trail adjacent to a forest, with Sugar Maple (Acer saccharum), Hophornbeam (Ostrya virginiana), Common Buckthorn (Rhamnus cathartica) and Chokecherry (Prunus virginiana).

Inflorescence length (mm) measured from the base of the lowest pedicel to the base of the highest flower: 48, 45, 49 (3rd photo), 48, 58 (4th photo).

Sepals spreading, recurved, reflexed, ascending: generally spreading or slightly recurving

Ovary summit hairiness: all flowers observed were densely hairy at the summit of the ovary (6th photo)
Leaf color: green with slight tinge of brown
Leaf abaxial surface hairiness at flowering stage: densely hairy (11th, 12th photos)
