The Common crow butterfly or Pepe (Euploea lewinii) is found across the Pacific region. This species of butterfly is confined to Tokelau and American Samoa and is very common around the coasts, where the larvae feed on fig tree foliage. It has a slow flight, but when disturbed the butterfly can make a fast escape. It also has a wingspan between 62 and 72 mm.
