Heard the raven croaking first and watched it glide to a landing on the roof level just below the antenna just west of the apartment. It went through a series of double knock calls then lifted. If this is one of the pair seen recently it's the one with little molt on its wings.
There's an orange butterfly in the center sitting on the brown-eyed susans. I tried to get a closer shot but it kept moving. First to the echinacea, then the russian sage and then flew off.
