脈翅目 (目 Neuroptera)描述
i thought it was a large thrip but now i don’t know. it was on my ceiling and raising its tail in a curled position. also waving it’s “mouth” side to side like sweeping for food. a real weird tiny creature so i put it in an old jumper cage. it was not found on this leaf!
also, it does not appear to be the red lipped lacewing larvae. it’s significantly skinnier, longer, and with less white coloration. a set of pincers and a set of antennae, with another third set of something i can’t quite tell 😭
