I got a couple of fleeting images of this species as it lifted off just as I clicked the shutter. I'm always intrigued by the gymnastic launches of moths upon take-off.
This species was undoubtedly the most common Tortricid for much of mid and late April. I'm just uploading a couple of the many images I took of this variable species.
