Exuvia found on downed alder across creek.
Likely: https://www.inaturalist.org/taxa/221249-Hesperoperla-pacifica
because this is the species we have found in this size range in years of stream studies with Vashon Nature Center.
Small nudibranch (under an inch?) clinging to rock at low tide. There were a bunch of egg cases and other nudibranchs of its kind on the rock.
This dead flying squirrel was brought into the house at night by the cat, sadly. I don't know if it is adult or juvenile. I'm guessing that it is a Humboldt's rather than a Northern Flying Squirrel because, if it is an adult, it seems rather small. Its coat was dark greyish brown with golden brown tips, save for its belly, which is lighter.
