Just some plant ID notes

From @csledge here's a tip on Vicia vs Lathyrus:


In general, the unfurling leaflets of Lathyrus are rolled, whereas the unfurling leaflets of Vicia are folded in half. You can see the rolled leaflets near the top of the first photo.
L. vestitus has larger stipules that are usually entire or mostly entire with a few shallow teeth. The lower calyx lobes are usually as long as the flower tube.
Vicia americana has smaller stipules that almost always have long teeth on the margin. The calyx is about half as long as the flower tube.
