Non-Biting Midges
So, I live basically right across from Lake Michigan. Like, walk over the street and then boom. The lake LMAO. Every year, we get swarmed with with midges !! I love them so much, and walking through their swarms has always been weirdly fun to me !! The thing is, we have always called them mayflies !! i just learned today that they are actually called midges !! and that mayflies are an entirely different bug !! Names are so strange and interesting :3
