Seems to only be one record of it in CT. Try placing bowl traps amongst decent legume and Penstemon patches in Fairfield. Maybe Waveny Park?

Pickerelweed specialist. Recorded in New York City a few years ago. Theoretically somewhere in Fairfield county.

Visited three different Pityopsis locations in 2024, to no avail. Will try bowl traps.

Only eastern population is found on a coastal peninsula in Massachusetts. Seems to really like Baptisia tinctoria and milkweed.

Much more abundant in the west, but does range a bit into the northeast. Apparently more of a “northern” species in the east. Maybe in the mountains of Litchfield?
