I’m a college junior who enjoys studying the plants and animals of the Georgia piedmont. Although I have no particular area of expertise, I think I know a good bit about ferns, sedges, dandelions, and granite outcrop species.

Currently attempting to correct several extremely common misidentifications in the southern US
-Many Ophioglossum pycnostichum are IDed as O. vulgatum, a Eurasian species that used to include the North American species that has since been split
-I suspect that most Tragia urticifolia observations in Texas are actually T. betonicifolia, which would make it the most common Tragia instead of T. urticifolia
-Similarly, most Collinsonia canadensis observations in the Piedmont are actually C. anisata
