I am botanist at Duhok University, Kurdistan Region of Iraq. Since my young age, I appreciate the complexity and beauty of the natural world of Zagrosian and Mesopotamian areas. My specific scientific orientation is the evolutionary ecology and the biodiversity conservation of the rare and endemic plant species; And now I am working on three main different projects lines:

• Ethnobotanical studies in Zagros and Mesopotamian Regions;
• Segetal plants of Mesopotamia;
• Urban agroecology and greening refugee camps;

• Natural regeneration and Seed germination ecology of some endangered plant species;
  -Taxonomy, ecology and Conservation of Geophytes species, particularly Allium genus, of Zagros.
