Kurrais (Arabic Shammar: قرّيص) Seasonal wild plant, appearing during February, March and April. • We eat it in our country as an "herbal fruit", because people love its pungent taste, which leads to a gentle constriction of the tongue. • We call it in our local language (Kurrais) which means (Stinging), referring to the effect of its taste on the tongue.
Scattered shrub across stony landscape - more prevalent in sandy re-entrants.
