I am a science illustrator, backpacking instructor, and thru-hiker. My favorite plants are miner's lettuce (Claytonia perfoliata) and California poppies (Eschscholzia californica). I love natural history and have had the great privelege to participate in several field studies over the years. I take tons of photos for illustration reference, so I've begun posting them here.
