Lecturer in Zoology at The University of the West Indies, Trinidad and Tobago. Specialising in the biodiversity and ecology of neotropical freshwater streams, as well as the behavioural ecology and invasive success of poeciliids.

Member of the Trinidad and Tobago Field Naturalists' Club (www.ttfnc.org) and co-organiser of T&T's annual Bioblitz event.
