I am a marine ecologist (PhD 2017, UChicago) currently working at UC Irvine teaching in the Masters in Conservation and Restoration Science program at UC Irvine. I have studied seagrass, echinoderms, and rocky intertidal communities along the USA Pacific coast, amateur knowledge of fossils, a special soft spot for sea slugs, and decent expertise in echinoderms (especially sand dollars and other echinoids). Many of my observations so far are from a trip to the Galápagos in 2019, and I am grateful for all the help with the birds, plants and fish! My sister is @sockeths.
