I am a professor of Botany at Utah Valley University where I teach Field Botany, Plant Systematics, Trees and Shrubs, and other Biology courses. My research focuses on the evolution of the legume family (Fabaceae, Leguminosae) with an emphasis on the Phaseoloid legumes.
