Teuthologist (AKA 'squidologist') in AUT's Lab for Cephalopod Ecology & Systematics; main research focus is deep-sea cephalopods. Undergraduate & postgraduate teaching/supervision on biodiversity and taxonomy of organisms in Aotearoa NZ and worldwide. Keen interest in all arthropods and other inverts. Budding plant, lichen & fungus enthusiast.
