I am an aquatic ecologist and entomologist, with an M.S. from Penn State University in wildlife and fisheries science and a Ph.D. from University of Maryland in entomology. My research has focused on ecological interactions in streams, particularly between algae and macroinvertebrates. While I have a fair bit of experience in taxonomy, especially in insects, I am always excited to learn more about the natural world and improve my identifications.
