My interests in nature are taxonomy, evolution of mammals and conservation. In practice of these interests I indulge in the following: I anchor Kenyan National Focal point for Global Taxonomy-CBD decision, teach public on evolution see exhibition on Great Hall of Mammals in Nairobi National Museum, and am a member of conservation networks in E. Africa and Africa(ESEA, EANHS, Afribats, BCA, IUCN SSC-on bats).
Professionally am a scientist and curator of mammals at the National Museums of Kenya (NMK).
