Hello from Bowen Island, BC! For many years I was exclusively a birder, but life is too short to be a 1% naturalist. These days I catalogue everything I find, but I've found I'm particularly partial to moths.

I'm a software developer by trade, so occasionally contribute back in that field. I added the drawing controls (circles, squares) to the iNat site map; I helped with the interactive features of the BC Lepidopterist's Guild website; created a script generate list of species from a curated set of observations and wrote a tool to generate checklists from raw spreadsheet data for Biodiversity Galiano.
