I'm Claudia Mills, research scientist at the University of Washington's Friday Harbor Labs in the San Juan Islands, Washington. I've studied "jellies" for decades, especially hydromedusae, stauromedusae and ctenophores - mostly cold water, shallow to the deep sea.

I've tried tackling a lot of iNaturalist IDs from good photos, but in places where I've never been. I have most of the relevant scientific literature for jellies, but especially for these "foreign" (to me) species, I could have gotten it wrong and if you think you know something I don't know, feel free to speak up.

It has been so much fun to encounter photos of little-seen species that I've otherwise read about and never expected to encounter in life.
