I'm a lifelong Alaskan. I did my undergraduate studying at the University of Alaska Herbarium & have a M.Sc. in Ecology & Evolutionary Biology from the University of Michigan. I've spent the last decade working as a botanist & ecologist for the National Park Service in arctic and interior Alaska. I have a particular interest in the lichens of Alaska, but probably more experience with field ID of vascular plants at this point.
