I photograph flowers on the mountains, with particular interest in flowers of the Cape Peninsula.

I am a member of the Mountain Club of South Africa, the Botanical Society, Friends of Cape Point and Friends of Silvermine.

As part of the Flora Documentation Program (Friends of Silvermine) I maintain our FloraDoc database of all plants on the Peninsula - this was available for sale at Kirstenbosch on DVD. The iOS app version of this (also called FloraDoc) is available for sale on the iStore, while the Android version is available from the Play Store.

I have co-authored the books: Common Wild Flowers of Table Mountain and Silvermine, and Quick ID guide: Wildflowers of the Cape Peninsula.
