I'm a mycologist studying gilled mushrooms, at the moment in California, in the past in the Netherlands. My special interests are in Lepiota, Pluteus and some obscure genera of small mushrooms such as Pseudobaeospora and Flammulaster.
I see taxonomy as the basis for all other branches of biology, and i hope that by naming and identifying mushrooms i can contribute to the conservation of these organisms.
