I am an amateur mycologist based in Midcoast Maine. Currently, my focus is documenting rare or overlooked fungi to contribute to Maine's fungal diversity record. My observations are mostly from Waldo, Hancock, and Penobscot counties. I am particularly interested in Thelephorales and Polyporales s.l., crust fungi, and fungal taxonomy in general.

I am a Board member of the Maine Mycological Association, editor of the MMA's newsletter Mainely Mushrooms, a novice microscopist, and macro photographer. I collect mycological literature, and my dream library would have a complete collection of Fungi of Switzerland: 1-6 (I have volumes 1 & 2 so far).
