I grew up in the high country of NSW and have had a keen interest in the natural world from very young. Son of an alpine ecologist, I understand the need for scientific rigor, and the importance of documenting the natural world to understand our effect on it, and for the intrinsic value of knowledge. Recently Moving from Adelaide to the East Coast has opened up a whole new natural world. Just a beginner on iNaturalist compared with some, I enjoy contributing to the collective knowledge.
