I am a field ecologist, specializing in botany and forest ecology. I have recently completed my master's studying the interaction of myrmecochores and their seed-dispersing ants in Southern Ontario, and how this may be impacted by invasive plants.

My primary area of field identification is terrestrial plants, but I am also interested in fungi, insects (limited mostly to ants, and invasive or agricultural pests), and herptiles. I am also beginning the foray into birds.
