I am an amateur naturalist/photographer. I have co-written two small books on the Herbal and Flower Essence use of plants on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. While learning about our native plants I have taken various other courses to improve my understanding of the interactions with plants, birds, mammals etc on Vancouver Island. My facebook site "Island Deborah Nature Photography" where I hope to share information and pictures which show our interaction with animals and plants. I have also written a book of vignettes of our adventures on Vancouver Island displaying the beauty of this part of the world through photography. My hope is to encourage others to participate with their own interactions in understanding and respecting nature.
