I am an independent naturalist, author and educator with a particular interest in animal tracks. I currently run the Minnesota Wildlife Tracking Project, based in Minneapolis and St. Paul, MN, and hold two Track & Sign Specialist certifications from CyberTracker International. I am the author of a number of nature guidebooks, including Animal Tracks of the Midwest and a pocket guide to Bird Tracks. My current research focuses on mammalian locomotion and track patterns.
