I am the Curator of Paleontology at the Utah State University Eastern Prehistoric Museum in Price, UT. I have been keeping track of my observations (particularly birds) on iNaturalist and eBird since 2016. My goal for 2017 was to see 400 species of birds, documenting as much of the avifauna and associated critters and veggies I can get in front of my camera lens (made it to 412!). With my PhD wrapped up in 2019, I'm hoping to make it back to 400 birds in 2021 (or some post-pandemic year).
