I am a naturalist who spends as much time as possible traveling to see wildlife.

My primary interests are birding and herping, but I also have a growing insect collection. I enjoy looking for cycads, succulents, carnivorous plants, and NAm orchids. I'm trying to improve my knowledge of plants and fish. I won't even pretend to have any idea how to ID fungi and lichens.

I currently work as a fossil preparator for UT Austin, and run the dermestid colony. In the past few years I have lived at Petrified Forest National Park, AZ and in Lawrence, Kansas.
