Lepidopterist with experience studying butterflies and moths of North and South America. Recently I've been focusing on photographing native orchids in South Florida.
I currently work for the USDA/ARS Invasive Plant Research Lab studying and producing Neomusotima conspurcatalis & Floracarus perrepae in mass for release to slow the growth of the terribly invasive, old world climbing fern Lygodium microphyllum in South Florida. I have also worked with Paperbark
I received my master's from the University of New Orleans with a project examining the false eyespots of Brassolini butterflies.
