I used to call it "biologizing": spending the day outside, searching for species I've never seen before, photographing them, and trying to find their identification. Now I call it "iNaturalizing" and it is followed by gleaning information from the knowledge and experience from all of you. Especially those of you that provide the characteristics that lead you to the ID, or include tidbits of natural history of the species.

This is my classroom. I've learned far more from all of you than I did earning my natural history certificate.
