I have been involved in alternative education and conservation for the past 25 years. I am a co-ordinator of the Chennai based sea turtle conservation network [ www.sstcn.org]. I am also a trustee and active participant in the Thiruvannamalai based afforestation/education/organic farming/sustainable community group called " The forest way" [www.theforestway.org]. I am part of a team which runs an alternative school called Marudam farm school. [ www.marudamfarmschool.org] I am part of a community trying to live sustainably near Thiruvannamalai. I am very interested in recording biodiversity and have been doing so for a few years now in India biodiversity portal.
