I'm fascinated by the wild plants of the human ecosystem, especially the ones that live right around Ukiah, CA. The pretty pond behind me in the photo is quite anthropogenic, and supports a lot of life. We are part of nature; we evolved, just like all the other species, and we continue to do so.
