I'm an amateur naturalist and wannabe geographer. I've taken several natural history field courses on California through Merritt College, SFSU, and Saddleback College (Lassen Volcanic N.P., Yosemite High Country, Ferns of the Bay Area, Mt. Whitney and the Southern Sierra, Watershed Analysis in the Northern Sierra, Geography of the Eastern Sierra) and completed a docent training program at Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park in the Santa Cruz Mountains.
