I am a Brazilian botanist working with taxonomy and systematics of the orders Commelinales (Commelinales, Haemodoraceae, Hanguanaceae, Philydraceae, and Pontederiaceae) and Nymphaeales (Cabombaceae and Nymphaeaceae), and families Basellaceae (Caryophyllales), Mayacaceae (Poales) and Winteraceae (Canellales). I also do floristic studies with Neotropical Ranunculaceae (Ranunculales).
