I am a formally trained ecologist/conservationist, focusing on infectious and non-infectious disease processes. Currently, I am a Regional Wildlife Ecologist and researcher for the US Forest Service Law Enforcement and Investigations. I served (14yrs) as the Executive Director for a Non-profit Research Organization (IERCecology.org) and was a principal partner (10yrs) in an ecological consulting firm. I strive to approach my research and view of natural resources in a transdisciplinary fashion. Working at the intersections of ecosystem health, animal health, and human health. I am a firm believer that a One Health collaborative approach allows science gains to be pushed far beyond an individual's capacity or focus.
