I grew up in the American Midwest and did my graduate work on plant insect interactions in the Sierra Nevada mountains of California. I currently live and work in the Bay Area near San Francisco and lived in central Europe for five years. So I am mostly interested in insects and plants and diverse habitats from the coast to the mountains.
