I'm a general nature enthusiast, with a special focus on fungi and plants! I mostly explore the Mid-Atlantic region of the U.S., but love to document unusual things I find wherever I go.

I teach Mushrooms, Molds, and Society at George Mason University, and lead lichen walks and talks with MD Natural History Society, Nature Forward, and Mycological Association of Washington DC. I have also taught college classes in Botany, Ecology, and Conservation at Rutgers, The College of New Jersey, and Southern New Hampshire University.
