I am an assistant professor of biology at the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire, with a focus on plant evolution! My research ranges from studying the phylogenetics of Protea in South Africa to sunflowers in Texas and now Wisconsin, with a particular interest in hybridization and its outcomes! I teach Plant Systematics, Evolution, and introductory biology, as well as courses in bioinformatics, research, and occasionally tropical field studies.
