First hobby was astronomy which I picked up at the age of 17. At 36 years old I started getting interested in birds and have pursued the hobby for nearly 20 years. I'm currently a hotspot moderator for New York State on eBird.org and I bird mainly in New York County which includes Manhattan plus Randall's, Roosevelt and Governors Island.
